Dr. Angelo Asheh

Dr. Angelo is a double-board certified physician with a focus on, addictions, mental health, preventive medicine, and pain. As an addiction medicine specialist, he completed his training at top institutions: Yale University, University of California San Diego, UC Irvine, Loma Linda University, UConn, and Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC. He has served as lead clinician for several world-renowned treatment centers around the country such as: Caron Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, and is currently the Chief Medical Officer of the acclaimed Hanley Foundation. He is a medical instructor at UCSD, Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and is a REACH scholar from Yale University & AAAP. He has expertise in Addictions, Depression/Anxiety, ADHD, Psychopharmacology, Prevention, Pain, and Ketamine. His particular interest is in childhood trauma & social determinants of health.
Dr. Angelo emphasizes a “whole person” holistic approach to his treatment, taking physical, emotional, spiritual, and social health into account. His focus is on treating those with substance use disorders, those struggling with mental health, and those suffering from pain. Each encounter with Dr. Asheh is personalized to build a long-lasting individualized therapeutic alliance.
Dr. Angelo believes in treating patients holistically through lifestyle optimization (sleep, diet, exercise, etc), medication management, and mindfulness. He is trained and experienced in the most modern treatment modalities such as ketamine therapy, TMS, and interventional approaches to treatment. Treatment can be done virtually or in person. Dr. Asheh will use these various techniques to help you feel better, improve your well-being, and achieve your goals.
